    Invitation for Sealed Bids:
    Notice of Sale of Municipal Property Seales Bids

    The City of Dublin and County of Laurens Development Authority (the “Authority”) is offering for sale by sealed bids to the highest responsible bidder, property known as 720 Industrial Boulevard, Dublin, Georgia 31021 in Laurens County, Georgia. The property and structure thereon will be sold “as is," “where is” and “with all faults.”. The minimum bid amount is One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00). The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Conveyance to successful bidder will be via Limited Warranty Deed with property described as:

    All that certain real estate situated, lying and being in Land Lot 132 in the First Land District and in the City of Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia, containing 18.748 acres, more or less and more particularly shown and described by reference to a plat of survey made by Marvin D. Clements, Surveyor, on February 12, 1979 as follows

    Beginning at an iron pin at the corner of the intersection of the southwest side of Industrial Road and the northwest side of Academy Avenue Extension and running thence along Academy Avenue Extension south 44 degrees 01 minutes west a distance of 884.9 feet to a concrete monument; thence north 46 degrees 03 minutes west a distance of 992.3 feet to a concrete monument; thence north 44 degrees 10 minutes east a distance of 892.2 feet to a concrete monument on the southwest margin of Industrial Road; thence along Industrial Road south 45 degrees 08 minutes east a distance of 418.4 feet to a concrete right-of-way marker and continuing thence along said Road south 46 degrees 02 minutes east a distance of 501.6 feet to an iron pin and the point of beginning.

    Individual bids must be submitted on the Authority’s Bid Form, which is obtainable from the Authority on its webpage at www.dlcda.com or at 1200 Bellevue Avenue Dublin, Georgia 31021., and must be returned no later than 5:00 pm (eastern) on December 19, 2018. The Authority is preparing a title report, and that report along with other relevant documents will be made available on the Authority’s webpage when available. A 5% deposit by cashier's check or money order payable to the “City of Dublin and County of Laurens Development Authority” must accompany all sealed bids. No personal checks or cash will be accepted. Deposits will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders. Bids will be publicly opened and read by the Authority on December 20, 2018 beginning at 8:00 am (eastern). at DLCDA, McGrath Keen Conference Center located at 1200 Bellevue Avenue Dublin, Georgia 31021.
