Board of Directors
The Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority Board of Directors holds regularly scheduled Board meetings the third Thursday of each month. The meeting commences at 8:00 am in the McGrath Keen Sr. Conference Center located at 1200 Bellevue Avenue, Dublin GA. Please note that the meeting day and time are subject to change due to Agenda content; therefore, it may be helpful to call the Development Authority at 478-272-3118 to verify the meeting.

Jimmy Allgood
Chairman
Jimmy Allgood resides in Dublin, Georgia and has lived in the community his entire life. Jimmy graduated from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia with a BBA in Economics. He started his own pest control business, Allgood Pest Solutions, in 1974. Jimmy is Chairman of the regional pest control company. He currently serves as a member of the Board for the Georgia Ports Authority. Jimmy and his wife Kathy have three children and four grandchildren.

Jimmy Allgood, Chairman

Roger Folsom
Vice-Chairman
Roger Folsom resides in Dublin, Georgia, but was born in Hahira, Georgia. Roger attended Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia and graduated with a BS in Biology. He later attended graduate school at The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Roger has obtained a number of post graduate educational certificates in both healthcare management and pharmacology. In 1995, Roger formed a successful home medical services company, Med1st, where he serves as President/Owner. He was appointed to the Georgia Board of Community Health in November 2014 of which he continues to serve on. During his spare time, Roger enjoys traveling and spending time with great friends and family.

Roger Folsom, Vice-Chairman

Keith Griffin
Treasurer
Keith Griffin is a native to the City of Dublin, Georgia. After receiving his diploma from Dublin High School, he dedicated the following six years to serving in the United States Air Force. For Griffin, the desire to serve didn't stop there, as he ventured out into what is now his current position; Director for Volunteer Services for the Carl Vinson VAMC. In his spare time, Keith takes pleasure in refereeing sports, traveling, fishing, and having quality family time.

"I am ecstatic and humbled to be presented with the opportunity to help serve my community at such a great capacity like this. I'm looking forward to coming together to work with an amazing team for the sake of bringing jobs back into the community."

Keith Griffin, Treasurer
Keith Griffin is a native to the City of Dublin, Georgia. After receiving his diploma from Dublin High School, he dedicated the following six years to serving in the United States Air Force. Guy Cochran
Guy Cochran is married to Tina and has lived in Dublin, Georgia since completing a four year stint in the U.S. Army. Guy is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Guy is the current President/CEO of Cochran Bros Co Inc. dba Cochran Bros Wholesale Grocers, Cochran Oil Co., and Friendly Gus Food Stores. In his spare time, Guy enjoys hunting, forestry, traveling and studying US/World History. Guy and his wife have four children and nine grandchildren.

Guy Cochran,

James Malone
James Malone is a lifelong resident of Laurens County, having grown up in the Dexter, Georgia community. James graduated from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia with a BS in Agronomy. He is the owner of Malone Farms. When not on the farm, James enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf. James and his wife Doris Jean have two sons, Barrett and Keegan, and six grandchildren.
James on the Development Authority:
"It is a privilege to serve my community as a board member of the Development Authority. This board plays a vital role in economic development by helping retain jobs with our existing industry base, and creating new jobs by recruiting and bringing in new industry."

James Malone,

Dr. Fred Williams
Dr. Frederick C. Williams is a native of Plantation, Florida. He is married to Melissa McCloud Williams and the proud father of three children: Whitley, Frederick II, and Gracelyn.
Dr. Williams is a product of the Broward County School System where he attended Nova High School. Upon graduation, he furthered his education at Clark-Atlanta University. He earned a four-year scholarship to play football for the Clark Panthers Football Team. While attending college, he was awarded numerous academic and athletic awards. He was inducted into the Clark Atlanta University Hall of Fame in 2012.
His love and desire to help every child led him to become an educator. In 1993, he started his teaching career with the Dublin City School System as a Physical Education Teacher and Football Coach for the Dublin Fighting Irish Football Team. Dr. Williams furthered his education by obtaining a Masters of Education degree from Troy University and a doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Williams serves on numerous educational and leadership boards across the state, and is active with his local RESA district, as well as Rotary International.
Dr. Williams became the Superintendent of Dublin City Schools in 2015. Under his leadership, the district has earned Exemplary Board status through the Georgia School Boards Association and, most recently, was selected as Charter System of the Year by the Charter System Foundation of Georgia. Dr. Williams is also currently the Pastor-Teacher of Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 12th District Bryant Theological Seminary Nights Coordinator and the Past President of the Dublin-Laurens and Surrounding Counties Baptist Ministers Union where he currently serves as Chaplain.

Dr. Fred Williams
